Hello everyone! 
I finally came back to realistic graphite drawing after maaany years! And I feel so good!
Well, for those who don't know who this guy is, he's called Daren Jay Ashba aka DJ Ashba, guitarist of "Guns n' Roses" and "Sixx am". I liked the reference photo mainly because of its composition of lights and shadows.
I must admit I hate drawing backgrounds and clothing but this time I loved making his shirt

I'd like to improve my skills, my main goal is to achieve photographic realism and this was not the case, this was a crappy cheap paper and didn't helped at all...and also, it was very small, so next time I'll use an A3 paper to add as many details as I can.
Materials I've used:
22cm x 32 cm 125 g/m2 paper
H, B, 3B and 6B graphite pencils
"Staedtler" Mars rasor eraser pencil
Kneadable eraser, regular eraser, cotton swab and tissue

Por fin volví al dibujo realista en grafito, y me siento tan bien!
Bueno, para aquellos que no conocen quién es, se trata de Daren Jay Ashba mas conocido como DJ Ashba, guitarrista de Guns n' Roses y Sixx am. Me gustó la foto de referencia principalmente por su composición de luces y sombras.
Debo admitir que odio dibujar fondos y ropa pero esta vez me encantó dibujar su camisa pueden verla en detalle acá argentinian-queen.deviantart.c… . Pueden también ver sus ojos y pelo en detalle acá argentinian-queen.deviantart.c… .
Me gustaría mejorar mi técnica, mi meta principal es lograr realismo fotográfico y este no fue el caso, el papel que use era una porquería y no ayudó para nada...y también, era chico, asi que la próxima vez voy a usar un papel tamaño A3 como mínimo para agregar tantos detalles como pueda.
Materiales:
Hoja Canson tamaño 22cm x 32 cm de 125 g/m2
Lápices de grafito H, B, 3B and 6B
Lápiz goma "Staedtler" Mars rasor
Goma comun, goma amasable, cotonetes y papel tissue
