Artist's Comments

Jack Sparrow, played by the handsome Johnny Depp in "Pirates of the caribean...", inspired me in this artwork. :love:
This is a drawing I finished today, April 27th. It's made by 5b "Staedtler" graphite pencil and smoothed with tissue paper. I know that it isn't so well smoothed in some parts, I tried to darken the background but couldn't smooth it very well because graphite pencils always leave lines hard to erase.
Hope you'd enjoy it anyway :deviation: and, of course, tell me whatever you think about it ;)

Oh yeah! Just one more thing! I forgot to show you how it progressed since the very beggining:

Very nice - if you want a darker background, try an ebony graphite pencil, those things go as black as charcoal. =)
